Take Action
In light of recent events, women in Lebanon have not been given the right to a quasi-equal representation in Parliament. Where we stand as Lebanese women today may not make an instant difference, but it sets the starting line for future generations to come. We are amongst the countries that are still living in the past, and if you don't take action, moving forward will be impossible.
Let them know
Let the voice of women be heard and their positions be known to the deputies that are supposed to represent the will of the people. Women are half of the people.
Be active
If it can make a slight difference, it matters.
Education is key
Whilst waiting to reach the time in which women will get equal representation, pursuing education is of utmost importance: the more you know, the better you stand. Education will help in making your positions firm.
